Where does 86cm sit in the range?
Between the 71cm Tanto (290g) and the 100cm Katana (555g). It's the middle blade — more reach than a tanto, faster in the hand than a full katana. If you want the traditional two-handed katana feel, go 100cm; if pure close-quarters speed, the 71cm Tanto.

Is it really unbreakable?
Polypropylene is a rigid, non-brittle polymer — under normal training use it won't crack, chip or splinter the way timber can. Virtually indestructible in the dojo, though not warranted against deliberate abuse.

Why so light?
380g is deliberate — the ninja-to profile favours speed and repetition. You can drill hundreds of cuts a session without wrist fatigue, which makes it a favourite for conditioning and flow work.

Is it suitable for partner work?
It's built for kata and controlled partner drills under qualified instruction. It's a rigid trainer that carries real impact, so it's not intended for contact sparring — use control and appropriate protective equipment.
