The White Knight Sparring Shin & Instep Protectors are purpose-built for intermediate to advanced athletes who need secure, comprehensive protection during demanding sparring. Hand-crafted from super-rich microfibre polyurethane and sold as a pair, each protector combines substantial layered padding with an anatomically shaped left and right leg design for a precise, stable fit through fast offensive and defensive exchanges.
A Quad Core 5cm layered padding system is reinforced with an additional 5mm E45 shock-absorbing layer across the shin, while extended calf padding covers checking, blocking and close-range exchanges. The contoured 15mm instep extends protection across the foot, held in place by dual 5cm hook-and-loop straps, an Achilles strap and wide underfoot elastic so the guard stays planted through rounds.

Which size should I choose?
The guards come in Small, Medium and Large, sized to shin length — the guard should run from just below the knee to the ankle bend. If you're between sizes, size up for coverage; the dual straps and underfoot elastic take up the slack.
Are these suitable for Muay Thai kick checking?
Yes — that's what the extended calf padding and the E45 shin layer are there for. The anatomical shaping keeps the padding square over the shin when you check, rather than rotating off-line.
How do I look after them?
Wipe down with a damp cloth after sparring and air dry away from direct sun — the microfibre PU outer cleans easily and the gel-enhanced lining stays fresh with regular airing.
