FAQs

Why does it arrive unassembled?
Police and border force regulations require nunchaku to be sold dismantled β€” assembled, they are classified as a weapon. Assembly takes a couple of minutes with the included pins; instructions are below.

Is foam better than wood for training?
For learning, yes. The soft casing means a missed catch or stray swing won't cause the injuries a hardwood pair can, so students can train technique at full speed sooner.

Can children use it?
The lightweight 300g build suits junior students β€” but purchase is restricted to adults 18+, and training should always be under strict instructor supervision in a school or dojo environment.

What's the difference between the colours?
Colour only β€” red, blue and grey are identical in size, weight and construction.

The Morgan Training Nunchaku lets you swing and block safely with lightweight, foam-covered control.

ASSEMBLY

Due to police and border force regulations, we must sell nunchaku dismantled, as they are considered a weapon if sold assembled.

To assemble your nunchaku:

  1. Secure one of the nunchaku handles in a vice or a similar holding device.
  2. Gently tap the small magnetic pins into place, or hold the pins with pliers and push them through.
  3. Apply a bit of force to ensure the pins are securely inserted.

Once the pins are in, they will remain securely in place.
