At 30.5cm per handle with a 14cm chain and a lightweight 238g build, it suits both children and adults training under instruction — and the foam surface wipes clean between classes.

FAQs

How is this different from the standard Foam Training Nunchaku?
Same soft-foam construction and ball-bearing swivel — this version comes in the iconic yellow and is slightly lighter at 238g, making it even easier for juniors to control.

Is foam better than wood for training?
For learning, yes. The soft casing means a missed catch or stray swing won't cause the injuries a hardwood pair can, so students can train technique at full speed sooner.

Can children use it?
The lightweight build suits junior students — but purchase is restricted to adults 18+, and training should always be under strict instructor supervision in a school or dojo environment.

The Fitness Hero Bruce Lee Foam Training Nunchaku is made using an ultra-soft outer casing foam

ASSEMBLY

Due to police and border force regulations, we must sell nunchaku dismantled, as they are considered a weapon if sold assembled.

To assemble your nunchaku:

  1. Secure one of the nunchaku handles in a vice or a similar holding device.
  2. Gently tap the small magnetic pins into place, or hold the pins with pliers and push them through.
  3. Apply a bit of force to ensure the pins are securely inserted.

Once the pins are in, they will remain securely in place.
