ETA: December

Crafted from high-grade, virtually unbreakable polypropylene (PP), the 86cm Training Sword delivers the balance of durability and control that realistic sword practice demands. The classic straight-guard training profile replicates the look and handling of a traditional blade, with the resilience for striking, blocking and precision movement drills year after year.

The ergonomic textured grip keeps handling secure through fast movements, while the light 340g build suits high-repetition technique work without fatigue — a safe, long-lasting alternative to metal and timber blades.

FAQs

How is this different from the 86cm Ninja Training Katana?
Same length, two characters — this is the classic straight training-sword profile at 340g, while the Ninja Katana carries the curved ninja-to styling at 380g. Handling is near identical; pick the aesthetic your training calls for.

Is it really unbreakable?
Polypropylene is a rigid, non-brittle polymer — under normal training use it won't crack, chip or splinter the way timber can. Virtually indestructible in the dojo, though not warranted against deliberate abuse.

Is it suitable for partner work?
It's built for kata and controlled partner drills under qualified instruction. It's a rigid trainer that carries real impact, so it's not intended for contact sparring — use control and appropriate protective equipment.
