The Solaris V Squat lets you load the legs heavy through a full squat pattern without balancing a barbell on your back. You stand on an oversized angled footplate with your back against a padded support, and the machine's pivot arc guides the descent - so the legs take the load, not your lower back.

It's a staple for lifters who want deep, quad-dominant squats with less spinal compression: great for hypertrophy blocks, for training around a sore back, and for members who never got comfortable under a bar. Move your feet and you move the emphasis - lower on the plate for quads, higher and wider for glutes and hamstrings.

What muscles does the V squat work?
Primarily the quads and glutes, with the hamstrings and adductors assisting. Foot position shifts the balance - low and narrow for quads, high and wide for glutes.

How is a V squat different from a hack squat?
Both are back-supported. A hack squat runs on a fixed straight sled; the V squat moves on a pivoting arc that lets the hips travel more naturally, which many lifters find easier on the knees and lower back. Compare the Solaris Hack Squat.

Is it a good barbell squat alternative?

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.
