The 45 degree leg press is where legs get built heavy, and the Solaris 45 Degree Leg Press is engineered for exactly that: a reclined seat, an angled sled on smooth linear bearings, and a 600kg load capacity that outruns the strongest member on your floor.

The 45-degree angle is the point of the machine - it loads the quads, glutes and hamstrings through a natural pressing path while the reclined back pad takes the spine out of the equation. Squat-level leg loading, without squat-level lower-back stress. The oversized footplate turns one machine into several: feet low for quads, high for glutes and hamstrings, narrow or wide to shift the emphasis.

Built from commercial-grade high-strength steel at 260kg with multiple safety stops and an adjustable range of motion, it's made for the heaviest daily work a commercial floor can throw at it.

What muscles does the 45 degree leg press work?
Primarily the quads and glutes, with the hamstrings and calves assisting. Foot placement shifts the emphasis - low and narrow for quads, high and wide for glutes and hamstrings.

How is it different from a 90 degree leg press?
The 45 degree sled moves diagonally against gravity, so the plates themselves provide the resistance curve - the classic heavy leg press feel. If floor space or entry height is a concern, compare the Solaris 90 Degree Leg Press.

Is it safe to go heavy without a spotter?
Yes - that's the machine's job. Multiple safety stops and an adjustable range of motion let you set a hard floor for the sled, so heavy sets can be taken to failure safely.

What plates does it take?
Standard Olympic (50mm) plates - the same plates as the rest of your floor. Plates are sold separately; add them to your order and we will freight everything together.

You can now design your own custom made equipment to suit your own requirements. Simply let us know the colour or finish you would like on the products and we will do the rest.

Once an order has been placed, your equipment will be manufactured upon request. This process generally takes around 14 days depending on the size of each product.

Once the production is finished, it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. Once it has arrived in our warehouse, we will arrange shipment to your location. Prior arrangement can also be made to ship items direct to you.
